Akash is an aspiring musician who is making strides in the world of music and sound, as a Composer, Music Producer, Vocalist, and Mix Engineer. He completed his Electronic Music Production Certification Course at the prestigious KM College of Music and Technology, Chennai. Akash is also a verified artist in Google and Spotify.
From December 2018 to December 2023, Akash worked as a Lead - Audio Producer and Audio Project Manager at BYJUS where he managed multiple projects and worked with the Audio-Media team. He played an important role as part of the team that also collaborated with renowned organisations such as FIFA, ICC, Disney, Epic!, Tynker and more, delivering exceptional music compositions and arrangements, ensuring the highest quality for these projects. With expertise in stereo sound mixing, audio recording, editing, and database management, Akash could bring a valuable skill set to the production process.
Before joining BYJUS, Akash gained industry experience as an Assistant Sound Engineer at Krimson Avenue Studios, Chennai; where he assisted in sound recording, mixing, and mastering for various films and indie music projects. This opportunity allowed him to hone his skills and contribute to the success of several independent projects..
In addition to his work at BYJUS, Akash has independently composed, produced, and performed a number of songs that have been released on platforms such as YouTube, Spotify and other streaming services. Through his independent releases, Akash humbly shares his musical talent and creative expression with audiences, striving to create a meaningful connection through his music.
Akash is also an integral part of the Kerala-based music band, Thamarassery Churam. As a singer and composer for the band, he brings his unique artistic flair and musical sensibilities to their performances and compositions. Collaborating with fellow band members, Akash infuses his vocals and compositions with his distinct style, contributing to the band's signature sound.
